The OliveOilMedNet project will be featured at EXPOTROF 2026, one of Greece’s leading food and beverage exhibitions, taking place from 31 January to 2 February 2026 at the MEC Paiania Exhibition Centre in Athens. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the project’s innovative tools and methodologies that support quality, authenticity, and transparency in Mediterranean extra virgin olive oil.
At the OliveOilMedNet stand, attendees will discover how the project contributes to strengthening quality schemes, improving traceability, and enhancing consumer trust across the olive oil value chain. A live demonstration event entitled “Quality & Authenticity Schemes of Mediterranean Extra Virgin Olive Oils” will showcase best practices, production standards, and real-world applications of project results, complemented by tasting experiences.
Participation in EXPOTROF 2026 marks an important milestone for OliveOilMedNet, as the project enters its final implementation phase. Dissemination activities, demonstrations, and capacity-building actions are intensifying, ensuring that project outcomes are widely shared with producers, stakeholders, and consumers, and that the impact of the project extends beyond its completion.
The presence at EXPOTROF reflects OliveOilMedNet’s ongoing commitment to promoting excellence in Mediterranean olive oil production, encouraging collaboration across the sector, and supporting sustainable, high-quality agri-food systems.
Visitors are invited to meet the project team at Stand A118–B115 and learn more about the tools and results shaping the future of Mediterranean extra virgin olive oil.
