The OliveOilMedNet project proudly took part in the 3rd Innovative Sustainable Economy (ISE) Community of Practice (CoP) gathering held from April 2 to 4, 2025, in Sarajevo. The event brought together 14 Thematic Projects and 2 Governance Projects with the shared goal of advancing sustainable and circular innovation across the Mediterranean.
Represented by the Preveza Chamber and ELGO DIMITRA, OliveOilMedNet showcased its commitment to the development of sustainable and authentic practices in the olive oil sector, as part of the Agri-food Systems cluster. The event featured a “Marketplace of Circular and Innovative Solutions”, where participating projects pitched their ideas, followed by thematic working groups that produced white papers on mission focus areas.
This high-impact networking session enabled OliveOilMedNet to identify synergies with related projects, fostering potential collaboration in sustainable cultivation practices and in authenticity of extra virgin olive oil. Practical workshops also addressed strategies to influence citizen behavior, an essential aspect of the green transition in agriculture.
