Preveza Chamber, Chamber of Commerce & Industry of Corsica, and University of Tirana represented OliveOilMedNet project, in Marseille on June 18 and 19, in the event: SHAPING SUSTAINABLE INNOVATION IN THE MEDITERRANEAN, organized by ISE Mission CoP, in the World Trade Center of Marseille. During the 2 days, the representatives of OliveOilMedNet project participated in interactive sessions and networking with like-minded people and organisations working for a more sustainable Mediterranean region. The event brought together the 14 Thematic Projects focused on blue and green circular economies.
On 18 June, during the launch of the Interreg Euro-MED ISE Mission Community of Practice (CoP), community-building exercises and thematic group discussions organised with the aim to connect, share, learn, and collaborate. Finally, a common result amplification approach was presented and the co-creation of a synergistic map.
On 19 June, the first edition of the MED Innovation Day was organised, with purpose to enhance the vision of a desirable sustainable Mediterranean. Participants were guided through a discussion and imagined a shared future and defined actions to work towards that goal. The MED Innovation Day wrapped up with a panel discussion on how to scale up innovative solutions to achieve zero waste in the Mediterranean.
Finally, OliveOilMedNet project had the opportunity to participated in the events that were organized in parallel: the European Week of Waste Reduction (EWWR) Awards ceremony, the ACR+ 30th General Assembly and the LIFE IP SMART WASTE Project closing seminar.
